Summary:

The “Être Humain et Mobilité” project aims to raise awareness on discrimination and migration in ten holiday centers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as well as ten public middle schools.

The project is organized as a caravan passing by the cities of Oujda, Nador, Tanger, Salé, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakech, Fes, Beni Mellal and Tiznit. The target audience of this project are middle school students and children in holiday centers from the host society and among them children of migrants, who spread the impact to their schoolmates, their families and their community.

The “caravan for awaireness-raising” offers a set of learning activities about inclusiveness and equal opportunities in a diverse society. It thus makes these issues tangible for children and allows them to develop adequate behaviors in situations where one is left behind. More broadly, the project contributes to realizing SDG 11 „Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable“ by improving the “living together” and fighting against discrimination.
