The Argentinean National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism, is an organ of the Government that promotes different initiatives in order to promote more inclusive policies. They have produced a Discrimination Map of Argentina and organised community workshops.

Greek Action Plan on Asylum And Migration

The Greek Government is establishing an effective, humane oriented response to the current migration challenges including the need to combat irregular migration and to address the situation of vulnerable migrants, in full respect of human rights and the EU acquis on migration and asylum. The Revised Action Plan on Asylum and Migration Management is the strategic implementation of the Government’s determination to reform the asylum and immigration processes.

Patria Grande (National Program for Migrant Documents Regularization)

The Argentinean National Migration Directorate established via its disposition N. 53253/2005 a "National Program for Migrant Documents Regularization", which was also called "Patria Grande". This programme was arranged to regularize the immigration status of natives of foreign countries belongining to MERCOSUR (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela) and their associate member countries (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru and Suriname), that were residing in Argentina prior to April 17th, 2006.

New Immigration Code (Greece)

According to the new Immigration Code, third-country nationals legally residing in Greece are entitled to free movement and establishment all over the country. They enjoy the same rights as nationals concerning social security and social protection. Migrant minors are subject to obligatory school attendance as nationals and they enjoy free access to all activities within the educational communities at all levels of education.

Global Action Programme on Migrant Domestic Workers and their Families (2013 - 2016)

This project aims to enhance decent work opportunities for migrant domestic workers by reducing their vulnerability to exploitation and abuse, and mitigating the adverse impact of migration on the families left behind. The project will works to:

a) enhance the global knowledge base on migration in global care chains though comparative, quantitative and qualitative research in selected countries;

b) raise awareness about human and labour rights of migrant domestic workers, including rights as key actors of social and economic development, and;

Promotion of Gender-Sensitive labour migration policies in Costa Rica, Haiti, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic

The programme objective is to strengthen the capacity of policy makers and social partners to adopt and implement gender-sensitive labour migration policies, legislation and administration. This will be done by promoting:

i) the adoption and implementation of policies, legislation and administration for better regulation of labour migration flows;

ii) strategies to enhance social security coverage of migrant worker and their families, and;

iii) the improvement of skills’ matching between sending and receiving countries and reducing de-skilling.
