The “Knowledge transfer on environmental sustainability and climate adaptation from the Filipino diaspora” is an action of the Palawan Council for Sustainable Development Staff (PCSDS) and Palawan State University (PSU) run by the EU Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF), an EU-funded project implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD). By leveraging Filipino diaspora expertise, EUDiF empowers PCSDS and PSU in the areas of climate change finance and education respectively to advance Palawan’s Strategic Environmental Plan. The High Commission for Migration (ACM) created the Telephone Translation Service (STT) to overcome the language barrier, one of the great difficulties experienced by immigrants in their relationship with the services in Portugal.
The STT offers a database of 60 translators/interpreters that fluently speak, besides Portuguese, one or more languages, and is aimed at Portuguese speakers / foreigners who need to communicate with foreigners and Portuguese citizens / entities.

Sin Palabras aspires to be a catalyst for the psychosocial development of those who take the workshop.
The "Mi casa fuera de casa" Project is an initiative of the organization Diálogo Diverso in Ecuador, supported by the Canadian Embassy, which began in November 2018 and seeks to benefit LGBTI people from Venezuela residing in Ecuador.
One of the largest long-term care facilities in Nova Scotia, Glen Haven Manor, was the first to be a part of the Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP), which was designed to help refugees find employment in Canada.
Recently, Glen Haven recruited 15 continuing care assistants from Kenya and Jordan through EMPP. The facility is also working with community partners to formalize a recruitment, training and retention program for newcomer continuing care assistants that can be used by other care organizations
The Municipality of La Pintana, Chile, has kick-started a project working with local businesses called ‘Migra Empresas’, which seeks to bring job offers to migrants and where the city administration provides legal and technical assistance to companies. This program is part of La Pintana's commitment to work in five areas to make the commune an intercultural territory, inclusive and free of discrimination:
1- Institutionality that addresses the migrant reality.
2- Education and training plans for municipal personnel in this matter.
Recognizing the important role of cities in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the City of Mannheim has developed the “Mannheim 2030” Mission Statement to put into practce the 17 UN sustainability goals. The Mission Statement was developed through a large-scale public participation process, sponsored by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Engagement Global's Service Agency Communities in One World. The Migration Advisory Board was part of this participatory process.
The Migration Strategy 2016-2020 is the third strategic document for Georgia defining migration policy. The strategy reflects an increasing drive, in cooperation with the EU member and other states, to increase the basis for legal migration, and prevent illegal migration, and transnational and trans-boundary organised crime. A special emphasis is given to the development of mechanisms facilitating return and reintegration of Georgian citizens, protection of the rights and integration of persons with refugee or humanitarian status, and asylum seekers in Georgia.
