Sending Remittances by Wells Fargo (Vietnam)

Wells Fargo has made inroads to Vietnam by partnering with the Commercial Bank of Vietnam (Incombank) by offering an account-to-account remittance program. Customers in the United States can send up to $3,000 a day to Vietnam for $8. As one of the largest banks in Vietnam, Incombank gives recipients an opportunity to claim their funds at more than 700 branches and 400 ATMs throughout Vietnam.

Sending Remittances by Wells Fargo (China)

Wells Fargo has made inroads to China by partnering with the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), one of the largest banks in China, by offering an account-to-account remittance program. Customers in the United States can send up to $1,000 a day to China for $8. Recipients can claim their funds at more than 31,000 ABC branches and 12,500 ATMs throughout China.

SenExpertise - Database on Human Expertise and Senegalese Centers of Excellence

The SenExpertise program contains a database of highly skilled Senegalese residing in France who desire to offer their expertise to Senegalese institutions (administration, programs, etc). The program finances short missions that help to build capacities of Senegalese institutions or organizations. This program is financed under the French migration agreement.

Centre for Migration Management and Information (CIGEM)

The Centre for Migration Management and Information (CIGEM - Centre d'information et Gestion des Migrations) based in Bamako, Mali, was created in 2008 through an agreement between the European Union and the Government of Mali. Its main objectives are the definition and implementation of a Malian migration policy adapted to national, regional and international dynamics in constant evolution, with particular emphasis on the link between migration and development.

Ghanacoop is a social cooperative promoting the competences of Ghanaian migrants residing in the Province of Modena, Italy. The cooperative was created through IOM's Migration for Development in Africa (MIDA) programme, which supports migrant diasporas wishing to invest in their country through skills transfer and new enterprises,

The Ghanaian diaspora have partnered with local government and local business to set up agrarian cooperatives back home, which in turn trade their produce with the community in Italy.

Triple Win Project

The Triple Win Project, coordinated by Germany's Development Ministry (GIZ), aims to match a surplus of qualified experts in countries of origin with unfilled vacancies in Germany. Participating third countries are Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Philippines. The term "triple win" refers to the benefits for the migrant and the labour market in the country of origin, the shortage sector in the country of destination and the development stimulus received by the country of origin through remittances.
