Financed by the Belgian Cooperation agency, the project has been implemented since May 2012 by the International Organization for Migration, through its offices in Rabat and Brussels.

This project is implemented in close collaboration with the Ministry in charge of Moroccans living abroad (MCCMRE) and the Foundation Hassan II (FHII).

Migration and Development in Africa Great Lakes (MIDA - Great Lakes)

Submitted by Mr. Dário Muhamudo on

MIDA seeks to respond to the ‘brain drain’ phenomenon in African countries through the creation and strengthening of sustainable links between diasporas and countries of origin. The objective is to encourage the transfer of competencies and resources of the African Diaspora benefiting countries of origin and strengthening the capacities of local public and private institutions.
