Mastering Darija, the Moroccan spoken language, is an important part for the linguistic, cultural and professional integration of migrants. Many immigrants do not master Moroccan local languages, which is a real challenge for their socio-cultural and professional integration. Therefore, the project aims at developing a new method of learning Darija for non-Arabic speaking migrants and refugees.

International migration has been an integral part of the historical and contemporary experience of most Jamaicans and is a feature of the country’s demographic landscape. The Government of Jamaica (GoJ) has recognized that with a population of approximately 2.7 million at home and a relatively large diaspora in destination countries, international migration has the potential to contribute to economic growth while reducing poverty and improving the well-being of individuals in countries of origin, transit and destination.

ECOWAS Regional Guidelines on Migration Data Collection and Data Management

The Free Movement and Migration (FMM) West Africa project seeks to support the development of standardized procedures to collect and process migration-relevant data. The project also  supports the ECOWAS Commission in the development of a regional migration profile, providing an overview of migration data and trends in the ECOWAS region.

The Poverty Reduction through Safe Migration, Skills Development and Enhanced Job Placement in Cambodia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Myanmar and Thailand (PROMISE) project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) aims to improve the employability of migrants; to promote safe migration from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar into Thailand; and to contribute to poverty reduction in the region.



Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia

Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia is a CSR programme that is designed for young, underprivileged Filipinos who want to become Porsche Service Mechatronics specialists.

During the 19-month programme, participants first receive a 10-month vocational training at the Don Bosco Technical Institute in Manila. Then the best 120 students are selected to proceed to a 9-month training taught by Porsche specialists and which also includes English classes.
