The National Reintegration Program promotes the delivery of responsive, productive and sustainable reintegration services to oversea Filipino worker returnees that will enable them to maximize the gains of overseas employment, mitigate the social costs of migration and cushion the impact of forced repatriation due to unexpected events.

OWWA Halfway Home

In Manila, the Overseas Workers Welfare Adminsitration (OWWA) has set up a half-way house to assist returned Filipinas who have suffered abuse abroad. The OFW Halfway Home is intended for transient Overseas Filipina Workers (OFW) who have no place to stay in Manila. The facility can accommodate 40 distressed OFWs, whom OWWA will provide with bedding, meals, and personal hygiene kits during their temporary stay. It also has recreational facilities for table games, televiewing, and group interaction.

Livelihood Development Program (LDP) for Filipino migrants

The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)-National Livelihood Support Fund (NLSF) Livelihood Development Program is a joint undertaking of OWWA and NLSF to address the economic component of the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Reintegration Program. It is a lending program for Overseas Filipino Workers and/or their family, who plan to open a business or improve an existing business. It is meant to further improve access to entrepreneurial development opportunities and credit facilities to OFWs, their families, and organizations.

Overseas Workers Welfare Fund

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) was formed by an Act of Parliament in 1985, one of its objectives being the establishment of an Overseas Workers Welfare Fund (OWWF). The OWWF aims to meet all expenses incurred in providing assistance to Sri Lankan migrant workers and their families. The Fund offers a compulsory insurance scheme, coverage of cost of repatriation of migrant workers, scholarships for children, and loan schemes with partner banks to cover migrants' pre-departure costs and start-up of self-employment schemes.

Temporary Return of Qualified Nationals (TRQN), Georgia

The Temporary Return of Qualified Nationals (TRQN) program is managed by IOM and the Georgian State Ministry of Diaspora Issues. It allows for the temporary return of Georgian nationals to Georgia in order to transfer their skills to their hosts organizations.

Support of Circular Migration and Re-integration Process in Armenia

This project of the EU aims to contribute to the protection of rights of Armenian citizens leaving for work abroad, economic stabilisation and reintegration of labour/circular migrants and the prevention of irregular migration. The specific objective is to empower all stakeholders in Armenian labour/circular migration in order to make migration work better for development.

The Swedish Public Employment Service leads a 3-year project 2012-2014 aiming to strengthening the capacity of Moldovan authorities to manage return migration and supporting social and economic reintegration of returning Moldovan citizens, informing the Moldovan population on the possibilities of working and living legally in the EU and enhancing the capacity of Moldovan Diaspora Associations to better maximize the links between migration and labour market development in destination countries and in Moldova.
