NATEG Days

Beginning in 2011, the North American Tunisian Engineers Group (NATEG), in partnership with the Tunisia American Young Professionals (TAYP) and AMIDEAST, has hosted the annual 'NATEG Days' in various cities in Tunisa. The days provide an entrepreneurship program aimed at graduating and graduate students in Tunisia’s top engineering schools.

FedACH Services Mexico

The central banks of Mexico and the US have signed an agreement that allows banks to to transmit electronic fund transfers from the USA to Mexico through the Federal Reserve Banks’ Automated Clearing House (FED - ACH).

The FedGlobal Mexico Service offers US financial institutions the added benefit and convenience of promotional materials and tools to aid in promoting the service to their customers and pre-opening accounts at participating institutions in Mexico.

United States-Mexico Border Health Commission

The mission of the United States-México Border Health Commission is to provide international leadership to optimize health and quality of life along the US-México border.

They have designed joint cross-border strategies to preserve, improve and care for the health of the Mexican migrant population. These include information, referrals, engagement of local migrant networks and access to services, as well as training and guidelines to service providers.

Bi-national Migrant Education Program (PROBEM)

The Bi-national Migrant Education Program (PROBEM) targets the educational problem of the migrant population between both countries. It aims to ensure the continuity and quality of children and young people basic education that spend part of their school year in Mexico and another in the USA.  

This program falls under the Mexico-United States Cooperation Initiative on Education that has established programs in the US to facilitate access to education for Mexican migrants and increase their potential to adapt locally.

 

Community Plazas

Community Plaza is a project which incorporates the use of new information and communication technologies applied to education and formation targeting Mexicans residing in the USA. This is a result of joined efforts by several institutions to promote diversified educational actions.

The IME-Becas program aims to elevate the educational level of the Mexican population or the Mexican Diaspora residing in the USA, by assigning resources to non-profit organizations. Center for Migrant Support in the Country of Origin (CAMPO)

CAMPO started as a project in the area of migration that promoted regular mobility between Cape Verde and the European Union (EU): Strengthening the capacity of Cape Verde to manage labour and return migration within the Framework of the Mobility Partnership EU/CV. It provides free counseling services to Cape-Verdean citizens willing to migrate to the EU. It also provided reintegration information to EU retuning Cape Verdean migrants.

Leave Healthy, Return Healthy Program (Ventanilla de Salud)

The Ventanilla de Salud is a program of the Government of Mexico developed by the Department of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented through 50 Mexican consulates in the United States and local health organizations. The Ventanillas provide reliable information on health topics, counseling and referrals to health services available and accessible in local communities.
