The SenExpertise program contains a database of highly skilled Senegalese residing in France who desire to offer their expertise to Senegalese institutions (administration, programs, etc). The program finances short missions that help to build capacities of Senegalese institutions or organizations. This program is financed under the French migration agreement.
The main goal of the African Guarantee Fund (AGF) is to increase access to finance for small and medium enterprises – which is especially relevant for returning migrants. The AGF’s key mandate is to assist financial institutions to increase their financing to African Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) through the provision of partial financial guarantees and capacity development assistance. AGF’s products and services provide financial institutions with the means which they can leverage in bringing their African SME financing interventions to the required scale.
The Centre for Migration Management and Information (CIGEM - Centre d'information et Gestion des Migrations) based in Bamako, Mali, was created in 2008 through an agreement between the European Union and the Government of Mali. The Dual Training and University Program is based on the active cooperation of the Private Sector and the universities in Mauritius. In this collaboration, the university and private sector representatives sit together and assess the future job needs. The cooperative was created through IOM's Migration for Development in Africa (MIDA) programme, which supports migrant diasporas wishing to invest in their country through skills transfer and new enterprises,
