Summary: The EU Global Diaspora Facility (EUDiF) is a pilot project funded by the European Union’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) under the Development Cooperation Instrument. It runs from June 2019 until the end of 2023 and is implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
IOM, the UN Migration Agency, has developed a Strategy on Migration and Sustainable Development designed to maximise the potential of migration to achieve sustainable development outcomes. The strategy builds on the organization's forthcoming Vision 2025, which recognises that when well-managed, migration can be both a development strategy and development outcome. Initially a citizen movement, SINGA creates opportunities for refugees and their host communities to meet and cooperate. Their aim is to build bridges between people, encouraging dialogue, fostering cultural enrichment and creating job opportunities.
