The project has as main goal to promote the creation of business ventures by immigrants through their training to acquire entrepreneurship skills.

Main activities:

• Creation and capacity building of a team of trainers and intercultural mediation for entrepreneurship;
• Mobilisation and strengthening of the partner institutions for the promotion of entrepreneurship;
• Training and building the capacity of the potential entrepreneurs;
• Coordination with institutional partners and engagement of other relevant actors.

The Portuguese Government has adopted since 2007 different National Plans against Trafficking in Human Beings. The first from 2007 - 2010, the second between 2011 - 2013 and the most recent one for the 2014 - 2017 period.

Portugal has already its third National Plan against Trafficking in Human Beings in effect with five strategic areas:

The "Program Choices" is a nationwide program that aims to promote the social inclusion of children and young people from vulnerable socioeconomic backgrounds, with the goal of achieving equal opportunities and the reinforcement of the social cohesion.

Portugal recently established an Office for the Support of Family Reunification (GARF) in each of its National Centers for Immigrant Support, in Lisbon, Porto and Faro.

The National Centers for Immigrant Support were created in 2004 to address some of the challenges faced by immigrants in their integration process in Portugal. Due to the cultural differences, differences in the society, differences in the legal system and the number of different services to which the immigrants have to access led to the creation of a center that would bring together in the same space all different services, institutions and offices available to immigrants.

The goals of this scheme are the following: to develop the operational framework and logistical roadmap for the pilot circular migration scheme between Ukraine and Portugal; to test the effectiveness of the established operational framework/logistical roadmap for the pilot through selection of migrant workers and delivering pre-departure and post-arrival trainings; to facilitate the return and effective reinsertion of 50 Ukrainian temporary migrants into the local labour market, through provision of vocational trainings, and; to test the effectiveness of incentives package for circularity t

Indonesia has decentralized its one-stop shops who provide up-front services (information, passports, medicals, visa processing, contracts, etc.) to the provincial levels to save migrants costly travel expenses.

The Project “Vocational Training in the North of Sri Lanka” (VTN) is a bilateral cooperation between the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Federal Republic of Germany.

The objective is to establish a new vocational training institute in Kilinochchi - the Sri Lankan German Training Institute (SLGTI) - together with various partner institutions working in the region. The SLGTI will offer training programs to young people which will enable them to acquire qualifications for employment or self-employment according to the needs on the market.

The Government of Germany, supports the establishment of a training and information centre in Shakhrizabz, Uzbekistan, which inter alia offers business start-up training, enhancement of entrepreneurship skills, and financial literacy courses to returning migrants and families, as well as the local unemployed.

Ghana has formed an interagency working group that led to the creation of its migration profile and, in the process, also to skills training, institutional strengthening and better cooperation between and among the government, academic institutions and civil society.
