Dialogues Migrations

Between 2021  and 2023, France has funded a project called “Migration dialogues” which aims to promote a responsive discourse on migration. This project targets mainstream medias (journalists, bloggers and influencers) as well as journalism schools through training activities to support content development and information-sharing on migration issues.

The European Trade Union Confederation’s (ETUC) Union MigrantNet

The UnionMigrantNet is a European network of contact points providing services to migrants established, managed and supported by trade unions. It is promoted by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).

The main goal of the network is to support fair labour mobility and migration. The services provided by the UnionMigrantNet contact points are aimed at promoting the collective and individual interests and rights of migrants regardless of their status.

OHCHR's Recommended Principles And Guidelines On Human Rights At International Borders

OHCHR’s Recommended Principles and Guidelines on Human Rights at International Borders are the result of wide-ranging expert consultations to draw up normative guidelines on the governance of international borders. They are intended to inform the work of States, international agencies and other stakeholders with an interest in human rights-based border governance. The Principles and Guidelines accompanied the report of the Secretary-General on Protection of Migrants (A/69/277) presented to the 69th session of the General Assembly held in 2014. 

Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund

Established by the UN Network on Migration in May 2019, the Fund is governed by a diverse and inclusive Steering Committee and administered by the UN Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office.

Committed to safe, orderly, and regular migration, the Migration Multi-Partner Trust Fund supports the adoption and implementation of the Global Compact for Migration to encourage the uptake of migration approaches that benefit communities of origin, transit, and destination, as well as migrants. 

Nilüfer Municipality’s “House of the Exchange of Populations” Museum: Promoting Cultural Diversity and Co-existence by Preserving Social Memory

The Municipality of Nilüfer commits to promote cultural diversity and co-existence through the "House of the Exchange of Populations" museum. Founded by the municipality and local associations, this museum commemorates the displacement of 1.5 million people following the Treaty of Lausanne in 1923 and preserves the history and folk culture of the region's communities.

Guayaquil’s Centro Municipal Ciudadanos Integrados: Holistic Support for People and Children on the Move

The City of Guayaquil commits to open a welcoming center for migrants and refugees in the city's busiest transit hub. The center will provide migrants, refugees, and Ecuadorian returnees coming into the city with legal assistance, access to education and job opportunities, psychosocial support, and a safe space for children's play and development.

C40 Cities and the Mayors Migration Council: Fostering Global Recognition and Support for Local Action on the urban dimension of climate migration
