In collaboration between the Government of Indonesia and the CSOs the program "Migrant Care Village" offers various services to migrant workers and their families, such as information on safe migration, papers, and empowerment programs for migrants and their families.
The establishment of OFW Help Desks is mandated by the Migrant Workers’ Act (RA 8042 as amended by RA 10022), and is institutionalized with a Memorandum of Agreement on Convergence Program for OFWs forged by DOLE, TESDA, POEA and OWWA with the local government.
These help desks are established at the local level to attend to the problems and concerns of the OFWs and their families, and to provide information on all aspect of overseas employment.

The Philippine government, along with their partners from the civil society organizations, private institutions, and international organizations, has continuously strived to integrate gender in the migration-related legislation. FUNZI is a joint initiative by a start up and the government of Finland to carve a map of the places where refugees are arriving in Finland and to provide them all the information they need on the country. In 2015, they launched a mobile information and learning service for asylum seekers and refugees. The information for the newcomers on the country is in several languages.
