The overall objective of the project is to strengthen Georgia’s capacities to harness the development potential of its Mobility Partnership (MP) for the benefit of migrants, the sending and receiving country. This shall be achieved by means of activities in four components:
There are measures to prevent human trafficking in the fishery industry by establishing Coordination Centers for Sea Fishery Workers with the purpose to coordinate whose workers are allowed to work legally, to set up a system for controlling, monitoring and protecting workers as well as to provide knowledge to employers and workers to acknowledge their rights, as well as to prevent labour shortage and forced labour as a form of human trafficking.
The Royal Thai Government’s policy on Labour Migration, especially for the low-skilled workers group, has been implemented continuously under the management of the Committee on Illegal Migrant Workers Administration comprised of twenty-two relevant ministers and academics, employers and workers’ representatives. Planning to dispatch Thai workers to work overseas, the Department of Employment has improved and developed policies and strategic plans which will be instruction procedures for Thai workers who wish to work overseas and will notify themselves at provincial employment offices where most Thai workers are dispatched from.

In Germany the web portal “Make it in Germany” is the first check for foreign workers, and German advisers are also posted abroad (India, Indonesia and Vietnam) to provide information and advice to those wishing to go to Germany. Responsibility for this could also be shared between countries of origin and destination, and be included in labour agreements.
The German money transfer site (www.geldtransfair.de), shows current rates charged by MTOs and financial institutions, as a transparent way of informing and helping diaspora select cost effective transfer modes.
